Almost Kicked Off the Bus for Breastfeeding!

Blatant harassment for breastfeeding!

  1. Wow, good for her!
She needs to get copies of the laws stating that we have a right to breastfeed in public and then take it to the bus offices/dispatch.
So proud of her for standing up for her rights!

  2. I have written the company and received a response. Apparently, the driver is on paid leave until this all gets worked out. They are planning a nurse-in in Michigan to support mom :)

  3. Way to go! I had my own story when I was bf'ing my son in a Walmart (well covered) while waiting for my husband to punch out from his shift. A cashier (who knew my husband from work) asked me if I thought it was "appropriate" to feed him right there. I said, "Yes, because he's hungry and you'd hate to see an 8-week-old child starve because you're a decent person, right?" Others were very supportive and some strangers even encouraged me if they saw me feeding him while running errands and such. At those times when I was bothered by it, I had this wonderful little baby showing me in a thousand little ways that I was doing the right thing. No regrets and I'll definitely be doing it with #2 due in 3 weeks!
